act one. scene one.

it almost makes you think.
cause it's similar to exhaling smoke.
sitting. waiting. and you find yourself on a couch.

now, i want you to sit still, but imagine
you're getting kissed for the first time.
on a couch.
next to... it's just much easier than on a bunkbed. or a series of them.
next to... some dingy periwinkle sheets. ok. pull his hair...and action!

CUT.

"and for a split second
things not only made sense, but
the cinema does this to us."

"the cinema flashes on to a screen images of the past. as this is what the mind does to itself all through life, the cinema seems intamatley real. of course it is nothing of the sort - it is a satisfying and enjoyable extention of the unreality of everyday perception. this is what can make it more real than the normal stream of consciousness. this is also what can make it so disturbing". peter brook, The Empty Space.
